Policy conditions and catalogues of existing soil health economic and policy incentives

The report analyzes policy requirements, barriers, and enabling factors, as well as economic incentive programs aimed at sustainable soil management and the preservation/restoration of soil health. Existing policies and economic incentives for soil health were examined through horizontal mapping and semi-structured interviews. The analysis helps determine the types of methods used to evaluate the effectiveness of soil intervention methods, the modeling and indicator analyses performed, and other factors that influence the effectiveness of promoting public and private investments in soil health.
